Poetic Solitude

There are places in this world that speak not in words, but in silence—in colours, textures, and the quiet drama of nature. Havelock Island in the Andamans is one such place. A sanctuary where the sea, sky, and land meet in a timeless embrace.

On one unforgettable evening, while driving along the island’s serene coastal road, I was compelled to stop. Before me lay a scene of quiet grandeur—a weathered tree, long surrendered to the tides, rested upon the shore like a relic of time. Behind it, the Bay of Bengal shimmered in layered shades of blue, while the heavens above staged a mesmerising play of clouds, light, and shadow.

It was a composition that needed no rearranging—nature had already perfected it. All I did was listen, observe, and press the shutter. A fleeting moment transformed into a lasting memory.
