Riot of colours - Havelock Island

In May 2025, on the serene Havelock Islands, I encountered a sunset unlike any other. As I made my way back to my guest house by the Bay of Bengal, the sky transformed into a living canvas—storm clouds gathering, the sea whispering with unrest, and the horizon erupting in a riot of magnificent colours. It was fleeting, dramatic, and utterly unforgettable.

With my camera, I surrendered to the moment. Through long exposure, I captured the rhythm of the waves, the glow of the fading sun, and the storm’s raw energy. Even amidst the swarm of insects that tested my resolve, the result was a work of pure wonder—an image that preserves nature’s grandeur in its rarest form.
