Steadfast Souls

It was a December morning wrapped in the hush of winter. A veil of mist lingered over the stud, drifting slowly through the cold air as though it wished to stay and witness the day’s unfolding. In that stillness, a tender scene emerged—two mares, bound by an unspoken companionship, grazing quietly side by side.
