On that serene winter morning, amidst the mist-shrouded paddock, a captivating sight unfolded before my eyes. Two graceful mares, their silhouettes outlined against the hazy backdrop, gracefully cantered along the far end of the sprawling paddock. One boasted a rich chestnut coat, while the other exuded an ethereal beauty in her grey hues. As a resident veterinary officer at the picturesque thoroughbred stud, I had the privilege of witnessing such breathtaking moments. Being an avid fine art photographer, I always carried my camera, ready to immortalize these cherished encounters. In that instant, I made a decision to capture this scene in monochrome, seeking to encapsulate the essence of tranquility and harmony where nature, animals, and human connections intertwine.
